Brenics is a family-owned company where Gary and Barbara Johnstone remain closely involved, providing guidance and support, though they are no longer involved in the day-to-day operations. Their son Scott now serves as General Manager, overseeing the overall direction and performance of the business, daughter Nicola leads Compliance and Health & Safety, ensuring the company meets its regulatory obligations and maintains a safe working environment and their eldest son Brendon is responsible for Fleet Management and also plays a key role in helping ensure operational efficiency.  

Based in Christchurch and Nelson, and with hubs across the nation, our team of 32 includes staff in management, operations, drivers, loaders and administration roles.

The Brenics fleet includes 20 trucks ranging from a two axle 'around town' truck to 50/54 Max Permitted truck and trailer units.

​

Most of our large truck and trailer units have 50 Max and 54 Max permits so we can carry larger and heavier loads under the legal permit system.
